Jen: I love your video. So great. I also enjoy your photos, particularly the one called "backyard visitors." It's not so much the deer, but the colors of the trees and the far vista where the horizontal striations of the the hills are matched by the striations of the clouds. Congratulations on all of it.
I listened to you. I never forgot reading Aunt Adela, some forty odd years ago. I never forgot her, or the fact that one of the reasons she was left behind was that she was disabled. These stories need to be told again and again and again until they are truly heard and absorbed. Thank you, dear friend, for your bravery. It’s inspiring.
Wow so well done Jennifer. You tell this dreadful story with so much courage and integrity. Thank you for this work!! Can I share this video with the peace and justice committee at my church? Would you be interested in doing an adult education hour next time you are in St Paul?
Very moving and thoughtful. I love your integration of your surviving family with all of the departed and how it has inspired you to tell their stories.

Thank you for reading that excerpt. The intimacy of your family's perspective amidst a monstrous chapter of world history is so moving.

Beautiful! And so sad. Wonderful and awful that you remember so much so clearly. Must be hard to read. Congratulations.
Are you living in the Catskills now or just visiting upstate?
